ANDRĮS SCHIFF & PALLADIO at VICENZA
29 April - 4 May 2010

Andrįs Schiff again gives his wonderful series of chamber and orchestral concerts in the inimitable setting of Palladio's Teatro Olimpico, which is still as built by Palladio in 1580.

We are based in VICENZA where we stay in a newly-refurbished three star hotel in the heart of the old city and just across the square from the Teatro Olimpico. There will be two excursions by coach for private visits to some of the most celebrated and other less well-known villas in the region, most by special arrangement, including La Rotonda and Villas Cornaro, Barbaro and Emo. The tour is accompanied by the very experienced Italian expert Jennifer Anderson and Richard Wigmore, who will talk about the music .

Cost : £1,730 to include return flights (BA Gatwick-Venice), transfers, accommodation with breakfast , 3 lunches, excursions and good tickets for all concerts. Single supplement £80 Deposit £300.
