2009 is the 200th anniversary of Haydn's death. He is being widely commemorated.

We will continue our regular and successful tours to music festivals we have been involved with, in some cases for over twenty years. We are arranging three visits to Eisenstadt, Haydn's "home town", each to include visits to Vienna, Eszterháza and his birthplace Rohrau, all of which are each holding special exhibitions.

The exchange rate and rising oil prices have affected us all, but we asked for no surcharges in 2008. This year we will be offering more holidays that are not flight-inclusive, so that you can decide how to travel. We will of course advise and book as necessary.

New in 2008, and very popular, was our visit to Wagner's Ring in the Budapest Palace of Arts conducted by Adam Fischer. This was over four evenings in a "semi-staged" production that impressed everyone. It is being repeated, and we have secured seats in the front row (and others) for our party.
